The Latest New Design
This design is new to me but likely not to other workshop hobbyists. I saw this model at an online art and 'architexture design' site* and now think it is - surely - a very popular model among birdhouse enthusiasts.

Recently I sketched my own plan, sussed out the measurements and materials and went to town. I say without hesitation that I will be making many more in the future, with emphasis on the porch and trim package, 'cause that's where the fun is!!
